I have previously studied Canine Behaviour and Psychology with a dog behaviour school. I have also spent two years (2009/2010) working weekends at the Wolf Conservation Trust and have received my practical training from Battersea Dogs Home.
One to one dog training sessions are recommended for a variety of issues. These include:
- Basic Obedience Training (e.g. watch, sit, stay, down, recall etc.)
- Pulling on the lead
- Jumping up
- Separation Anxiety
The initial assessment will involve meeting the dog/s in their natural environment, asking questions to find out how you and your family interact with your dog/s (and how your dog interacts with other pets) and also, observing any presenting behavioural issues. After this *assessment, a plan will be put together and a number of recommended sessions will be booked in (the number of sessions will depend on the presenting issues and the outcome of the initial assessment).
It is recommended that owners participate in all training sessions so that there is a level of continuity between sessions.
- Initial assessment – 90 minutes – £90
- One to one dog training session – 60 minutes – £60
*a written report will be given on request
